I'm looking for a friendly and organised Accounts Administrator to join a busy office in Stamford town centre on a full-time, temporary basis. This role has come up because a current team member is going on secondment for around 6 months, and if things go well, there's a good chance it could turn into a permanent role. There's also another team member retiring soon, so there will definitely be a permanent opening in the future.
About the Role
You’ll be working closely with the office team to make sure everything runs smoothly. From processing renewals and customer payments, to keeping records accurate and supporting the wider team, this role is all about keeping things on track and ensuring the day-to-day operations run without a hitch. The role is full-time and on-site in Stamford, but the team are happy to offer some flexibility around start and finish times once you’re settled.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain good relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Process and dispatch documentation accurately and on time.
- Handle customer payments and follow internal procedures.
- Keep records up to date and ensure compliance with internal standards.
- Manage office supplies and day-to-day admin tasks.
- Produce correspondence and support the team with ad hoc projects as needed.
About You
- Highly organised with great attention to detail.
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems.
- Previous experience in admin, finance, or accounts is a plus, but full training will be provided.
This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience, work in a beautiful Stamford town centre office, and potentially secure a permanent role once trained. If you’re organised, proactive, and ready to get stuck in, I’d love to hear from you.
