Warehouse Supervisor / Assistant Team Leader
We're looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor / Assistant Team Leader to support the day-to-day running of a busy warehouse operation.
2 SHIFT OPTIONS AVAILABLE - 4 ON 4 OFF 6.00AM-18.00PM & MONDAY - FRIDAY 22.00PM-6.00AM
This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse leadership experience who enjoys being hands‑on, motivating a team and keeping operations running smoothly.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting the daily running of the warehouse
- Supervising, motivating and coordinating warehouse staff
- Ensuring workloads are completed safely and on time
- Monitoring team performance and helping resolve operational issues
- Supporting staff training, coaching and development
- Managing cover for absence and changing workloads
- Maintaining excellent Health & Safety, HACCP and housekeeping standards
- Helping drive improvements in productivity, quality and customer service
- Deputising for management when required
What we're looking for:
- Previous warehouse supervisory/team leader experience
- Confident leading and motivating a team
- Strong organisation and problem-solving skills
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable working to deadlines in a busy environment
- Good communication skills
- PC literate, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Flexible approach to shifts and workload
- Ambition to develop and progress
