Shifts: Rotating – 05:50–14:20, 14:00–22:30, 10:30–19:00 (Monday to Friday)

The Opportunity
We are recruiting General Operatives on a temp-to-perm basis for our client, a market-leading recycling and resource recovery business in Whittlesey. This is a fantastic chance to secure long-term employment with progression opportunities, starting on a temporary contract before moving permanent.
The Role
As a General Operative, you’ll be part of a production team responsible for the safe and efficient running of the plant. Your duties will include operating machinery, assisting with general labouring, and supporting the team to achieve daily targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate plant and machinery safely and efficiently
- Carry out general labouring and support tasks across the site
- Monitor machinery and promptly report issues or faults
- Follow all health & safety procedures at all times
- Work closely with supervisors and colleagues to maintain smooth operations

- Reliable and flexible individuals able to work rotating shifts
- Previous experience in production, industrial, or plant work is an advantage
