Overview
Product Transfer Operative!
Location: Outskirts of Newark
Must have own transport due to the location.
This is a permanent role. Must have Counterbalance or Reach licence
Shifts are 4 on 4 off 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am. Salary £12.64ph
What You’ll Be Doing
- Ensuring traceability and accurate recording of product movement using WIP bin systems
- Preventing cross-contamination by completing purges between production runs
- Fitting mesh screens on Mogensen sieves as per production plan and product requirements
- Setting up Tomra optical sorters to match product specifications
- Managing and coding regrind totes, ensuring waste is captured and re-used effectively
- Operating FLT to assist with raw material transfers into the mill
- Supporting other production areas as needed, including waste management cover
What We’re Looking For
- A proactive, reliable team player who takes ownership of their work area
- An FLT license (or willingness to train)
- Experience in manufacturing or production (preferably in food, pet food, or FMCG)
- Food Safety Level 2 and an understanding of BRC standards
- IOSH Working Safely certification (or similar awareness)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
