Our client, a respected and growing business in the logistics and distribution sector, is currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operativeto join their team on a temporary, part-time basis.
This role offers a great opportunity for someone looking to work part time hours across 4 days per week, with varied tasks and a friendly team environment. The hours of work ideally will be 9.30am-2.30pm.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods
Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders accurately
Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet trucks (if certified)
Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
Perform inventory checks and rotate stock as required
Follow company health and safety procedures at all times
Assist with booking in deliveries and general warehouse duties
Required Skills & Attributes:
Basic computer literacy
Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Good communication and teamwork skills
Punctual, reliable, and a positive attitude
Flexible and adaptable to changing workloads and priorities
Comfortable lifting and moving items up to 25kg
Able to stand and walk for extended periods
Manual dexterity and safe operation of equipment
