We're recruiting for a Packaging Materials Controller to takeresponsibility for the planning, procurement and supply of packaging materials across multiple manufacturing sites.

You'll ensure the right materials are available at the right time to support uninterrupted production, while maintaining control of stock levels, costs and supplier performance.

You'll work closely with suppliers to monitor delivery, quality and cost performance, manage lead times and continuity of supply, and escalere issues where necessary.

You'll also support cost-saving and continuous improvement projects through packaging optimisation, standardisation and value engineering.

We're looking for someone with experience in supply chain, materials planning, packaging control or procurement within an FMCG or food manufacturing environment.

A strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems, excellent analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential.

Experience of multi-site manufacturing, packaging procurement or category management, food safety and packaging compliance, and advanced Excel or data analysis would all be advantageous.

You'll be highly organised, proactive and solution-focused, with strong communication skills and a genuine continuous improvement mindset.

The role will involve occasional travel between sites and suppliers, including some overseas travel.
