We are recruiting for a highly organised and proactive Operations Administrator to join a busy and growing manufacturing business based in Grantham. This is a varied and hands‑on position supporting the day‑to‑day running of the office, transport coordination, goods movement, and operational administration. Working closely with the Operations Director, you’ll play a key role in keeping processes running smoothly across the business. This opportunity would suit someone with previous experience within manufacturing, logistics, transport, warehouse, or operations administration who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment and taking ownership of their workload.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing incoming calls and general office enquiries
  • Coordinating transport and freight bookings with external providers
  • Preparing delivery notes, labels, consignment paperwork, and shipping documentation
  • Processing goods received and maintaining accurate records
  • Supporting goods in/goods out administration
  • Maintaining organised filing systems and document control
  • Processing operational paperwork and internal reports
  • Supporting compliance procedures and monthly site inspections relating to BRC
  • General office administration and support for the wider operations team

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous administration experience within a manufacturing, logistics, transport, or operational environment
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and internal systems
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • A proactive and reliable approach to work
  • Experience with transport coordination or compliance administration would be advantageous

Working Hours

38¾ hour week

Monday – Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm

Friday: 8:45am – 4:00pm
