We are seeking an experienced Welder Fabricator / Onsite Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer who enjoys variety in their work, combining workshop fabrication with onsite installation and maintenance projects. No two weeks are the same in this role, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working across different sites, solving engineering challenges, and delivering high-quality workmanship for customers.
The Role
- MIG welding and steel fabrication
- Manufacturing bespoke fabricated products from technical drawings
- Installation of fabricated steelwork on customer sites
- Carrying out mechanical repairs and engineering maintenance work
- Operating fabrication and workshop machinery safely and effectively
- Working independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines
- Maintaining excellent customer service standards whilst representing the business on-site
About You
- Proven MIG welding experience
- Experience within a steel fabrication environment
- Previous onsite fitting, installation or engineering experience (preferred)
- Confidence using workshop fabrication equipment
- The ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and customer-facing skills
- A flexible approach and willingness to work both in the workshop and on-site
