We’re looking for an experienced HR Business Partner / HR Generalist to join a dynamic, family-run business in Newark. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for employee relations, TUPE transfers, and broader HR operations, offering real opportunities to make an impact across the business.
What you’ll be doing:
- Provide advice and guidance on employee relations, including performance management, disciplinary and grievance cases.
- Lead and support TUPE transfers, ensuring compliance and smooth transitions.
- Partner with managers to deliver HR initiatives, including policy implementation, workforce planning, and recruitment support.
- Support organisational change, including restructures and workforce optimisation.
- Act as a trusted HR advisor to employees and leaders, ensuring consistent application of policies and employment law.
- Manage HR processes, reporting, and compliance with employment legislation.
Who we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in employee relations, TUPE, and HR generalist activities.
- CIPD qualified (Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of employment law, HR policies, and best practice.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to influence at all levels.
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-site environment is desirable.
