Warehouse Operative – Temp to Perm

About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy and friendly warehouse team on a temp-to-perm basis.
This is a varied role that would suit someone who is reliable, hands-on and enjoys working in a busy warehouse environment. The successful candidate will be involved in general warehouse duties, equipment preparation, data entry and maintaining a clean and organised working environment.
There is also the opportunity to receive forklift training, with the company covering the cost once you have successfully completed your probation.
Key Responsibilities
- Putting stock and equipment away in the correct locations.
- Preparing and organising items for post-outs and dispatch.
- Cleaning and refurbishing equipment to the required standard.
- Sorting and organising warehouse equipment.
- Completing basic data entry and updating records accurately.
- Checking items and equipment for condition and quality.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised warehouse.
- Keeping warehouse areas clear and ensuring good housekeeping standards.
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required.
- Following company health and safety procedures.
- Working as part of a team to ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:

- Organised and able to follow instructions.
- Happy carrying out a variety of different duties.
- Comfortable using a computer for basic data entry.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Safety-conscious and committed to maintaining a tidy workplace.
- Keen to learn and develop new skills.
Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential as the right attitude and work ethic are just as important.
