Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm
Pay Rate: £28 per hour
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities.
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
- Prepare and review RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements).
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors and direct labour.
- Monitor project progress against schedules and budgets.
- Maintain site records, including daily reports and safety documentation.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and senior management.
- Ensure works are completed to required quality standards and specifications.
- Identify and resolve site issues promptly and effectively.
Essential Requirements
- Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certificate.
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, health & safety legislation and CDM regulations.
- CSCS Manager Card.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- First Aid at Work (preferred).
