Ambitions are looking for a versatile individual to join X2 in a dual-role position covering both Quality Assurance and Factory Technician responsibilities.

Monday to Friday - No weekends

Quality Assurance Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products are thoroughly inspected before dispatch, as well as checking and inspecting any non-standard incoming goods. Duties will include:

  • Inspecting products and components for defects or deviations from specification
  • Recording and documenting inspection findings
  • Working closely with production teams to implement corrective actions
  • Maintaining high quality standards throughout the manufacturing process

The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and good communication abilities.

Factory Technician Responsibilities

In the Factory Technician role, the candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting factory equipment and tools. This includes:

  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults
  • Repairing plugs, sockets, industrial tools, and electronic equipment
  • Repairing PCBs down to component level, including soldering and component replacement
  • Designing, setting up, and using simple test equipment to verify functionality
  • Working safely with both mains and low-voltage electrical systems

A strong background in electronics and electrical work is essential, along with practical problem-solving skills.
