Product Test & Warehouse Technician
Location: Newark
Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am – 4:45pm; Friday, 8:00am – 12:30pm

The Role
We are looking for a practical and technically minded Product Test & Warehouse Technician to join a busy team for our clients based in Newark.
This is a varied role combining warehouse operations, product preparation, inspection and testing. The position would suit someone who enjoys working hands-on and is interested in developing their technical skills.
You don't necessarily need to have previous product testing experience. Candidates with a strong warehouse background, good attention to detail and a genuine interest in technical products will be considered, with training provided where required.
For candidates with previous testing, inspection or electrical experience, there is scope for the role and salary to reflect that additional experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving, handling and storing products and components
- Preparing products for testing and inspection
- Carrying out routine product checks and inspections
- Testing products in accordance with established procedures and instructions
- Identifying and recording faults, defects or issues
- Using basic test equipment and tools following appropriate training
- Completing test results, inspection records and associated paperwork
- Ensuring products meet the required quality and performance standards
- Packing and preparing tested products for dispatch
- Supporting general warehouse duties when required
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Following company procedures relating to quality, health and safety and product handling
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Practical and hands-on
- Reliable, organised and willing to learn
- Comfortable working with tools, equipment and products
- Naturally curious and interested in understanding how things work
- Able to follow technical instructions and procedures accurately
- Detail-oriented, particularly when carrying out inspections and recording results
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
- Confident using basic computer systems for recording information
- Ideally Reach licence but not essential
