Location: Newark
Pay: £12.74 per hour / £26,514 per year
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (40 hours per week)

Are you organised, confident using computers and great at problem-solving? We're recruiting an Operations Co-ordinator to join a busy operations team in Newark! This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, coordinating daily activities and ensuring everything runs smoothly.

What will you be doing?

• Coordinating daily service routes and supporting drivers.
• Briefing and debriefing drivers to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Handling calls from drivers, customers and internal departments.
• Monitoring route progress, attendance and service performance.
• Ensuring work is allocated efficiently and completed within deadlines.
• Resolving operational issues and helping improve customer service.
• Working closely with management and drivers to keep everything running efficiently.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring company procedures are followed.

What we're looking for

• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Good computer skills and attention to detail.
• A customer-focused approach with the ability to build positive relationships.
• Confidence handling problems and working under pressure.
• The ability to manage changing priorities and work as part of a team.
• Previous experience in operations, logistics, transport or administration would be beneficial.
