Are you an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer? Do you have Electrical and Mechanical experience? I’m looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join a dynamic Engineering team. Experience within the FMCG/Food sector is preferred but not essential. Working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern on fixed days.
Purpose
To provide technical support in the correction, prevention, and elimination of technical problems.
Key Responsibilities / Measures of Success
- Manage and close out all equipment failures, work orders, and PPM jobs.
- Ensure data of all parts used, jobs raised & completed are entered onto CCM.
- Responsible for good housekeeping of all areas.
- Ensure all work is carried out to specification and that SHE & food safety standards are met.
- Ensure that targets are met using the appropriate technical support in the correction, prevention, and elimination of problems.
- Respond promptly and effectively to ensure quick resolution to any issues to minimize downtime, quality, and efficiency problems.
- Understand and contribute using a range of risk assessment techniques to ensure the safety of plant, equipment, and people.
- Continually strive to reduce costs while ensuring production downtime is kept to a minimum.
Skills & Knowledge
The ideal candidate would have experience in a chilled FMCG environment, but this is not essential. Excellent knowledge of both electrical and mechanical engineering.
Qualifications
A recognized qualification for Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
