Production Operatives – Chocolate Manufacturing
About the Role
We are currently recruiting Production Operatives to join a busy food manufacturing environment specialising in chocolate products.
This is an excellent opportunity for reliable, hardworking individuals who enjoy working as part of a team and are looking to build experience within the food production and manufacturing industry.
As a Production Operative, you will play an important role in ensuring products are manufactured, packed and prepared to the highest standards of quality, hygiene and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating production and packing machinery safely and efficiently.
- Assisting with the manufacture and packaging of chocolate products.
- Weighing, preparing and handling ingredients and materials as required.
- Monitoring production lines and reporting any issues to supervisors.
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
- Packing finished products and preparing them for dispatch.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and hygienic working environment.
- Following strict food hygiene, health and safety and production procedures.
- Working towards production targets while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
- Carrying out manual handling duties where required.
- Working effectively as part of a busy production team.
About You

- Able to follow instructions and production procedures.

- Physically capable of carrying out repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.

- Flexible and willing to work different shifts when required.
- Previous experience in food production, manufacturing or warehouse work is desirable but not essential, as full training may be provided.
