Delivery Driver - Class 2 License Required

Pay: £13.50 per hour

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Delivery Driver to join a well-established manufacturing business based in the Mansfield area.

This is a customer-facing role where you will be responsible for delivering products safely and efficiently to customers. You will also be required to provide Class 2 driving cover when needed, making this an excellent opportunity for someone with commercial driving experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out deliveries safely and efficiently to customers.
• Provide Class 2 driving cover when required.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes.
• Load and unload products at customer sites.
• Check delivery contents and obtain customer signatures where required.
• Provide a professional and friendly service to customers.
• Deal with customer queries professionally.
• Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, safe and organised.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Follow all road traffic laws, company procedures and health & safety requirements.

Requirements

• Full, valid UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience is essential.
• Minimum 3 years' multi-drop delivery experience preferred.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own delivery schedule.
• Physically fit and able to regularly lift and move items weighing up to approximately 23kg.
• Experience driving both manual and automatic vehicles.

Desirable

• Class 2 driving experience/licence.
• Previous commercial driving experience.
• Warehouse experience.
• Good knowledge of local roads and delivery routes.
