We are currently recruiting for a Compound Driver / Vehicle Inspector to join our clients team based in Long Bennington. This role involves the movement and inspection of vehicles within a busy automotive compound. Candidates will be responsible for safely driving vehicles around the site, carrying out vehicle inspections using handheld PDA devices, and recording any damage or defects through a pin-drop inspection system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Driving vehicles safely around the compound and designated site areas.
  • Conducting vehicle inspections using PDA devices.
  • Recording vehicle condition and any damage using a pin-drop inspection system.
  • Ensuring all vehicle movements and inspections are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Following all site health and safety procedures.
  • Maintaining high standards of care when handling vehicles.
Requirements
  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
  • Confidence driving a variety of vehicles.
  • Ability to use PDA devices and handheld technology.
