Job Title: Logistics Assistant Location: Outskirts of Grantham (moving to new Grantham-based site in due course) Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Job Type: Full-time, Office-Based Salary: £28-30,000 Due to continued growth and expansion, we’re looking for an experienced Logistics Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid background in logistics who enjoys a role that requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate deliveries with precision and professionalism. Key Responsibilities: * Liaise directly with customers to confirm delivery requirements * Determine site-specific details: * Can the customer offload the delivery themselves? * Will an FLT (Forklift Truck) be needed? * Does the product need to be delivered into a shed or storage area? * Coordinate inbound deliveries from France, ensuring a smooth and timely process from origin to customer * Maintain accurate delivery records and update internal systems accordingly * Communicate with hauliers and other logistics partners to confirm schedules and address any delivery issues * Provide excellent customer service, resolving delivery queries or concerns efficiently * Work closely with the wider logistics and operations team to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery About You: * Previous experience in a logistics or transport coordination role is essential * Confident communicator, both on the phone and via email * Highly organised, with strong problem-solving skills * Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly * Able to work independently and as part of a small, friendly team * Knowledge of delivery documentation and handling international goods is a plus (but not essential) * Own transport required due to location What We Offer: * A stable, full-time office-based role * The chance to be part of a growing business with exciting plans for the future * Supportive team environment * Convenient working hours – no evenings or weekends Interested?
