Line Leader
Hours of work- Monday – Friday, 6am -2pm / 2pm-10pm rotating – overtime available in busy periods
Leading daily operations on the production floor, organising team activities to ensure safe and efficient execution of manufacturing plans. Responsible for maintaining standards, supporting colleagues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate and assign daily production tasks and workflows among operators
- Assist with daily start-up and shutdown of plant operations
- Operate equipment as needed (e.g., mixer, extruder, reactor, forklift)
- Monitor team morale and production-floor dynamics; escalate issues to management
- Enforce and model safety protocols and quality standards
- Support training and development of team members, including onboarding and peer guidance
- Manage production-related data entry (e.g., SAP or PRISM systems)
- Uphold housekeeping standards and contribute to departmental reporting
- Participate in process improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, 5S, safety programs)
- Support shift or department goals and collaborate in team-driven projects
Qualifications
- Typically 3+ years in a production role at H.B. Fuller (Level Production III) or equivalent industry experience
- Proficiency interpreting safety guidelines, material safety data sheets, batch and operating instructions, and procedural manuals
- Capable of accurate documentation and basic calculations (fractions, decimals, units)
- Strong leadership skills to direct, coach, and positively influence peers and subordinates
