We’re working with a well-established and forward-thinking IT services provider in Grantham to recruit a Technical Account Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically experienced professional with a passion for client success and strategic relationship building.

Whether you’re an existing Account Manager with an IT background or a technical team lead looking for a new challenge, this role offers the chance to take ownership of client relationships while shaping their ongoing IT strategy and service delivery.

The Role:

As Technical Account Manager, you\’ll be the go-to contact for a dedicated portfolio of clients—ensuring their IT environments run smoothly, stay secure, and continue to evolve with their business needs.

Key responsibilities include:

Acting as the primary contact for all client communications and service-related matters.

Building trusted relationships and understanding clients’ technical and business objectives.

*

Liaising between clients and internal technical teams to ensure expectations are met or exceeded.

Conducting contract renewals, pricing negotiations, and presenting tailored solutions.

Creating and presenting project proposals and quotations in collaboration with the sales team.

*

Staying current with technology trends to offer strategic guidance.

*

Driving continuous improvement across client services and internal processes.

About You:

We\’re looking for someone who brings both technical expertise and exceptional interpersonal skills. You’ll be comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders and confident in managing accounts at both an operational and strategic level.

You’ll need:

A Microsoft-based technical background (essential).

Strong communication and client engagement skills.

Proven experience managing accounts or leading IT teams.

Excellent commercial awareness and problem-solving skills.

Ability to influence stakeholders and manage expectations.

Organised, self-motivated, and confident working independently and as part of a wider team.
