Ambitions Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Internal Sales Coordinator to join a successful and growing manufacturing business based in Holmewood, Chesterfield.

Working within a busy sales office, you’ll play a key role in supporting customers, preparing quotations, processing orders and helping to drive sales growth through excellent customer service and commercial awareness.
The Role
As an Internal Sales Coordinator, your responsibilities will include
- Preparing accurate quotations from customer specifications, drawings and supporting documentation.
- Processing customer orders and maintaining accurate records.
- Liaising with customers to understand their requirements and provide technical sales support where required.
- Obtaining quotations from third-party suppliers.
- Assisting with contract quotations and tender submissions.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
- Identifying opportunities to upsell products and services.
- Providing excellent after-sales support and resolving customer enquiries.
- Responding to customer requests efficiently and professionally.
- Processing sales and purchase orders using Sage.
- Working towards departmental KPIs and service targets.
- Supporting the wider sales team with general administrative duties.
What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will ideally have
- At least
3 years' experience within an internal sales, sales administration or sales coordination role.
- Previous experience within a manufacturing, engineering or construction-related environment would be advantageous.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
- Experience preparing quotations and processing customer orders.
- Good commercial awareness and the ability to identify sales opportunities.
- Experience using
Sage or similar ERP systems.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
