Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Help Desk Assistant to join a busy service team. This role will act as the first point of contact for incoming queries, ensuring that all requests are logged, managed, and resolved efficiently. The successful candidate will be highly organised, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and confident communicating with both internal teams and external clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as the first point of contact for customer queries via phone and email
  • Logging and managing service requests using internal systems
  • Scheduling jobs and allocating work to engineers or relevant teams
  • Monitoring progress of jobs and ensuring timely completion
  • Providing updates to customers and handling follow-up queries
  • Escalating complex issues to senior team members where necessary

  • Previous experience in a customer service, help desk, or administrative role (preferred)
