We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative with a Counterbalance Forklift Licence to join our client on a temporary to permanent basis.
THE ROLE
The position will involve approximately:
20% Forklift Driving
80% Warehouse & Manual Duties
Duties will include:
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift
- Loading and unloading materials
- Moving stock and recyclable materials around the site
- General warehouse duties
- Manual handling and physical work
- Sorting and handling materials
- Keeping work areas clean, safe and organised
- Following site health and safety procedures
- Supporting the wider warehouse/recycling operation as required
WORKING HOURS
Monday to Friday
The shifts rotate weekly between:
6:00am – 3:00pm
11:00am – 8:00pm
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Previous warehouse experience
- A valid Counterbalance FLT licence
- Comfortable with regular manual handling and physical work
- Reliable and punctual
- Good awareness of health and safety
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- In-house Counterbalance FLT licences will be considered, provided candidates can show their certificate. An accredited FLT qualification is preferred.
