Are you naturally creative, full of ideas and looking for a role where you can actually put them into practice? We’re looking for a Junior Sales & Marketing Assistant to join our team and support both our sales and marketing activity. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic, organised and genuinely ideas-driven. We’re not looking for someone who simply wants to tick boxes and work through a list of tasks — we want someone who will bring fresh ideas, creativity and energy to the role. You’ll get involved in a real mix of sales, marketing, customer engagement, content, events and promotional activity, with plenty of opportunity to learn and develop.
What will you be doing? You’ll work closely with the Sales & Marketing team and get involved in things such as:
- Supporting the sales team with lead generation, customer follow-up and general sales administration
- Helping to develop and deliver creative marketing campaigns
- Creating engaging content for social media, email and other marketing channels
- Using Canva to create professional presentations, graphics, promotional materials and other visual content
- Coming up with new merchandise ideas, promotional products and creative ways to promote the business
- Creating and updating presentations, product information and marketing materials
- Supporting website and social media content
- Helping organise events, exhibitions, trade shows and promotional activities
- Researching competitors and keeping up with market trends
- Speaking with customers and responding to enquiries professionally
- Maintaining accurate customer and marketing information
- Supporting lead generation and following up opportunities
- Preparing reports and information for the wider team
- Getting involved in new projects and bringing your own ideas to the table
What are we looking for? Most importantly, we're looking for the right personality and attitude. You might be at the beginning of your career, or you may already have some experience in marketing, sales, administration, customer service or retail. Previous marketing experience isn't essential if you can demonstrate enthusiasm, creativity and a willingness to learn. We’re particularly interested in someone who is:
- Creative and genuinely ideas-driven
- Confident using Canva or keen to learn
- Comfortable creating presentations and visual content
- Someone who enjoys thinking of new and different ideas
- Confident communicating with customers and colleagues
- Organised with good attention to detail
- Proactive and willing to get stuck in
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Interested in social media, marketing and sales
- Positive, enthusiastic and keen to develop
- Able to manage several tasks and priorities at once
What will make you stand out? We want someone who sees an opportunity and thinks: “Could we do this differently?” “What if we tried this?” “I’ve got an idea…” Whether that's creating a new Canva presentation, coming up with a social media campaign, developing an idea for branded merchandise or thinking of a more creative way to engage customers, your ideas will be encouraged. You don't need years of experience — we’re much more interested in someone who is creative, commercially minded, confident and hungry to learn.
What’s on offer?
- Full training and support
- A varied role across sales and marketing
- The opportunity to develop valuable commercial experience
