We are currently recruiting for aLabourer / Operativeto join our local client’s friendly, close-knit team.
This is a great temporary to permanent opportunity for someone who ishands-on, reliable and willing to get stuck in. The role is varied, with the successful candidate getting involved in a range of yard, delivery and operational duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- General cleaning and maintenance of the yard.
- Loading and unloading deliveries.
- Taking and receiving deliveries as required.
- Operating acounterbalance FLT.
- Basic machine operating.
- Moving and organising materials around the site.
- Assisting colleagues with general labouring and operational tasks.
- Getting involved in other duties across the site as required.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Following all relevant health and safety procedures.
About You
- Previous experience operating acounterbalance FLT is essential.
- In-house FLT licences are accepted.
- Previous labouring, yard or machine operating experience is desirable.
- A practical, hands-on approach to work.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Someone who is happy toget stuck in and help wherever needed.
- Able to work well as part of a close-knit team.
- Good attitude and willingness to learn new tasks.
