About the Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Chef to join our client's busy and fast-paced hospitality team.

These are excellent opportunities for passionate chefs who thrive in a high-volume kitchen environment and are committed to delivering exceptional food and service.

  • Working Hours
  • Full-time, permanent position
  • 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis, including weekends
  • Typical working hours are
  • 12:00pm – 9:00pm , with occasional
  • 11:00am starts

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook and present high-quality dishes to a consistently excellent standard.
  • Support the day-to-day running of the kitchen and ensure smooth service.
  • Assist the Head Chef with food preparation, service and menu delivery.
  • Manage and maintain your designated kitchen section.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency.
  • Supervise and support junior kitchen staff where appropriate.
  • Help train and develop members of the kitchen team.
  • Ensure food hygiene, health & safety and cleanliness standards are maintained at all times.
  • Assist with stock control, ordering, stock rotation, storage and waste management.
  • Work efficiently and effectively in a busy, fast-paced kitchen environment.

We're looking for candidates who have

  • Previous experience as a cook or junior sous chef
  • A genuine passion for producing high-quality food.
  • Excellent knowledge of food hygiene, health & safety and kitchen best practices.
  • The ability to remain organised and perform well under pressure.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A positive attitude, reliability and excellent attention to detail.
  • Leadership skills and experience supervising others (Sous Chef applicants).

Own transport is essential due to the location of the venue.
