Ready to step into a HR Business Partner role where your advice actually makes a difference?
If you're an experienced HR professional who enjoys working with people, influencing senior leaders and driving positive change, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.
We're looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join a fast-paced, commercially focused organisation based in Grantham.
This is a genuinely hands-on HRBP role where you'll be trusted to advise, challenge and influence managers and senior decision-makers — rather than being tied up with administration.
And with a central HR team managing areas such as contracts and payroll, you can focus your time where you add the most value: partnering with the business and its people.
What will you get from this role?
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Build strong relationships with senior managers and decision-makers
- Have a genuine voice in business and people decisions
- Influence and support organisational change and restructuring
- Shape succession planning, talent development and management development
- Use HR data and insight to identify trends and help the business make better decisions
- Take ownership of employee relations and wider generalist HR matters
- Improve HR processes and ways of working
- Support workforce planning and wider people initiatives
- Challenge constructively and make recommendations, rather than simply implementing decisions
- Work as a true HR Business Partner within a wider HR team
If you enjoy a role where no two days are the same, you're comfortable having challenging conversations and you want to see the impact of your work, you'll thrive here.
What are we looking for?
You’ll need:
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or senior HR generalist
- CIPD Level 5 or 7 – essential
- Strong employee relations and generalist HR experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced commercial, industrial or corporate environment
- Experience supporting organisational change and restructuring
- Experience with succession planning and talent development
- Confidence working with senior managers and decision-makers
- Excellent influencing, communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience using HR data, particularly absence and turnover
- Good Excel skills
- A practical, commercially minded approach and the confidence to challenge and influence
Where will you be based?
Your main base will be Grantham, with some travel required:
- Bourne – approximately once a week
- Stourbridge – approximately once a month
You’ll receive a £4,100 car allowance to support the travel involved.
Interviews are happening THIS WEEK
We're moving quickly with this opportunity, with interviews being held on Friday 4th September and Monday 7th September.
If your experience matches what we're looking for, we'll be in touch to discuss the role and next steps.
