Are you an experienced HR Business Partner looking for a role where you can genuinely influence change and work closely with senior decision-makers? We are recruiting for an HRBP to join a fast-paced, commercially focused organisation, based in Grantham. This is a hands-on, 360° generalist HR role with a strong focus on business partnering, organisational development and driving positive change.
The Role
Working closely with managers and senior leaders, you will provide practical HR advice while supporting wider business and people objectives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a trusted HR partner to managers and senior stakeholders
- Supporting organisational structure and change
- Developing and implementing succession planning
- Supporting management development and training
- Advising on a broad range of employee relations and generalist HR matters
- Using HR data to identify trends and support decision-making
- Monitoring and reporting on absence and employee turnover
- Supporting workforce planning and people initiatives
- Influencing and challenging decision-makers to drive positive change
- Improving HR processes and ways of working
- Working closely with the wider HR team to provide a consistent service
This is not a heavily administrative HR role. A central HR team based in Manchester handles areas such as contracts and payroll processing, allowing you to focus on partnering with the business and making an impact.
About You
We're looking for an experienced HR professional with:
- Proven HR Business Partner or strong senior HR generalist experience
- CIPD Level 7 – essential
- Experience within a fast-paced commercial, industrial or corporate environment
- Strong employee relations and generalist HR knowledge
- Experience with organisational change and restructuring
- Succession planning and talent development experience
- Confidence working with senior managers and decision-makers
- Strong influencing and communication skills
- Experience using HR data, particularly absence and turnover information
- Good Excel skills
- A practical, hands-on approach with the confidence to challenge and drive change
Public sector HR experience alone is unlikely to be suitable for this role.
Location & Travel
The role is based in Grantham, with travel required to other sites:
- Bourne – approximately once a week
- Stourbridge – approximately once a month
A £4,100 car allowance is provided.
