We’re currently working with a fantastic client in the Grantham area who is looking for an experienced Head Chef to join their team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities
As Head Chef, you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day running of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation and service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading, motivating and developing the kitchen team
- Maintaining consistently high food quality and presentation standards
- Managing kitchen operations, rotas and staffing requirements
- Ensuring excellent food hygiene, health & safety and allergen compliance
- Managing stock levels, ordering and food costs
- Supporting menu development and maintaining high culinary standards
- Working closely with the wider management team to deliver an exceptional customer experience
- Taking ownership of kitchen performance and standards
About You
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or senior Sous Chef
- Strong leadership and team‑management skills
- A genuine passion for food and high culinary standards
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Good commercial awareness, including food cost and stock management
- A strong understanding of food safety and hygiene legislation
- The ability to perform under pressure in a busy kitchen environment
- A flexible and hands‑on approach to leadership
- Own transport is essential due to the location of the role
Working Hours
Full‑time, permanent position
5 days out of 7 on a rota basis
Weekend working is required
