Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant looking for a varied, part-time role within a friendly, family‑run business? Our client is a well‑established family‑run business that has been trading successfully for over 30 years. The Role
Working closely with the owner and management team, you’ll be responsible for a range of accounting and administrative duties, including:
- Accounts Responsibilities
- Purchase ledger processing
- Credit control
- Payroll administration
- Cash flow monitoring
- Assisting with Profit & Loss reporting
- General accounts administration
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Administrative Responsibilities
- Processing customer orders
- Handling customer enquiries
- Arranging product samples
- Booking site measures and surveys
- Preparing quotations
- General office administration
About You
We’re looking for someone who enjoys being involved in all aspects of a small business and who is happy to turn their hand to a variety of tasks. You’ll have:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or Bookkeeping role
- Experience with purchase ledger, payroll and credit control
- Strong administration skills
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- A confident and professional telephone manner
- The ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
