We’re looking for a proactive Financial Analyst to join a small, dynamic finance team. This role offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to own key financial processes, particularly during month-end closing. You’ll monitor budgets, support the sales team, ensure compliance, and provide insight to management — all in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Month-End & Forecasting: Review GLs, track SA&G spend, calculate and post accruals, manage intercompany recharges, and submit actuals/forecasts into the financial system.
  • Reconciliations: Perform balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and share SA&G spend reports with management; support profit-by-product reporting for the local market.
  • Compliance & Controls: Own and certify SOX controls, support HMRC and other regulatory reporting, and maintain internal financial bulletins.
  • Budgeting & Planning: Lead quarterly reviews with budget holders and prepare annual budgets.
  • Capital & Lease Accounting: Review assets for impairment, process car leases, and monitor BIK reporting.
  • VAT & Environmental Reporting: Prepare VAT returns for GB & IRE and support environmental compliance reporting.
  • Shared Service Support: Act as the main contact for local finance queries including Accounts Payable, Travel & Expenses, and Intercompany transactions.

About You:

  • Minimum AAT qualification or CIMA Certificate.
  • Several years’ experience in an accounting/finance function with strong month-end discipline.
  • Solid understanding of financial analysis and accounting principles.
  • Experience with SAP or similar accounting systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills and excellent attention to detail.
