Our client, a leading international manufacturing business, is looking to recruit a Utility Operator to join their successful operation in Tallington.

The Role
Working the afternoon shift (2pmβ10pm) and reporting to the Dispatch Working Team Leader, you'll play a key role in ensuring raw materials, work-in-progress and finished products move efficiently throughout the production process.
This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll be responsible for supporting production and dispatch operations while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general Forklift Truck (FLT) duties across the site.
- Pick and kit materials for production works orders.
- Complete stock checks and inventory counts.
- Safely move raw materials, work-in-progress and finished goods throughout the manufacturing process.
- Load and unload HGV vehicles.
- Work closely with Team Leaders and Managers to ensure materials are available when required.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Support the wider warehouse and production teams with day-to-day operational activities.
What We're Looking For
To be considered for this role, you'll ideally have
- A valid, up-to-date Forklift Truck (FLT) licence.
- Previous experience within a warehouse, manufacturing or yard environment.
- Experience loading and unloading HGV vehicles.
- Order kitting experience.
- Good general forklift operating experience.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safe working practices.
- A reliable, flexible approach and the ability to work well within a team.
