Our client, a successful and growing food manufacturing business based near Huntingdon, is currently recruiting for a Cleaner to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hardworking and reliable individual looking for long-term employment within a busy production environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the site, ensuring all areas meet strict food safety and health & safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning production areas, offices, kitchens, washrooms, and communal spaces
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
- Cleaning machinery to a high standard, including dismantling and reassembling equipment
- Carrying out routine cleaning inspections and reporting issues
- Replenishing cleaning and washroom consumables
- Responding promptly to spillages and hygiene concerns
- Maintaining cleaning equipment and storage areas
- Reporting machinery faults or maintenance requirements
- Following all health & safety and food hygiene procedures at all times
- Previous cleaning experience preferred, ideally within manufacturing or food production
- Good understanding of cleaning products and safe handling procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Awareness of health & safety standards
- Temp-to-perm opportunity

- Full-time hours - Monday to Friday 1.30pm to 10.00pm
