Our client, a successful and growing food manufacturing business based near Huntingdon, is currently recruiting for a Cleaner to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hardworking and reliable individual looking for long-term employment within a busy production environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the site, ensuring all areas meet strict food safety and health & safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning production areas, offices, kitchens, washrooms, and communal spaces
  • Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
  • Cleaning machinery to a high standard, including dismantling and reassembling equipment
  • Carrying out routine cleaning inspections and reporting issues
  • Replenishing cleaning and washroom consumables
  • Responding promptly to spillages and hygiene concerns
  • Maintaining cleaning equipment and storage areas
  • Reporting machinery faults or maintenance requirements
  • Following all health & safety and food hygiene procedures at all times
Candidate Requirements
  • Previous cleaning experience preferred, ideally within manufacturing or food production
  • Good understanding of cleaning products and safe handling procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Awareness of health & safety standards
