We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer on behalf of our client based in Worksop. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-speed process environment, working independently to maintain production and minimise downtime.

The Role

You will be working on a rotational 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, covering both days and nights. The role involves lone working on a fast-paced site, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and prioritising tasks to ensure continuous production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out electrical maintenance and fault-finding on a high-speed process site
  • Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns, minimising downtime
  • Ensure Safe Working Procedures (SWPs) are adhered to at all times, reporting any issues promptly to the Site Manager, Engineering Manager, and Compliance Manager
  • Ensure the correct PPE is used at all times and notify the Engineering Manager of any requirements
  • Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping, promoting a clean-as-you-go culture
  • Manage effective shift handovers to ensure continuity of production
  • Communicate site issues and breakdowns clearly to incoming shifts and management
  • Complete shift reports and email them to Engineering and Production Management at the end of each shift

About You

  • Qualified Electrical Engineer (industrial/manufacturing background preferred)
