We are currently recruiting for a Compound Driver / Vehicle Inspector to join our clients team based in Long Bennington. This role involves the movement and inspection of vehicles within a busy automotive compound. Candidates will be responsible for safely driving vehicles around the site, carrying out vehicle inspections using handheld PDA devices, and recording any damage or defects through a pin-drop inspection system.
Key Responsibilities- Driving vehicles safely around the compound and designated site areas.
- Conducting vehicle inspections using PDA devices.
- Recording vehicle condition and any damage using a pin-drop inspection system.
- Ensuring all vehicle movements and inspections are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Following all site health and safety procedures.
- Maintaining high standards of care when handling vehicles.
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
- Confidence driving a variety of vehicles.
- Ability to use PDA devices and handheld technology.
- Good attention to detail when carrying out vehicle inspections.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Own transport is essential due to the location and limited public transport links.
- Full-time, ongoing work.
