We are currently recruiting on behalf of an established electrical wholesale business for an experienced Branch Supervisor to join their Nottingham branch.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially focused and customer-driven individual to take on a key position within a busy trade environment.
Working closely with the Branch Manager, you will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the branch, supporting sales, customer account management, stock control, supplier relationships and general branch operations.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within electrical wholesale, trade counter sales, merchanting, branch operations or a similar trade supply environment and will be confident dealing with customers and supporting a team in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities

Support the Branch Manager with the effective day-to-day running of the branch.

Take responsibility for branch operations in the Branch Manager's absence.

Process quotations, sales orders and customer enquiries accurately and efficiently.

Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers.

Support branch sales and profitability through proactive sales activity and account development.

Contact regular spending accounts and follow up dormant accounts.

Identify opportunities for new business and account growth.
