Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team on a permanent late shift.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and growing food manufacturing business, offering a stable Monday to Friday position with no weekend working.

The Role

You will be responsible for ensuring production equipment is maintained to the highest standard, carrying out planned preventative maintenance, responding to breakdowns and supporting continuous improvement projects to maximise plant performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
  • Minimise downtime by responding promptly to equipment breakdowns.
  • Complete planned maintenance and statutory inspections.
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety legislation.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
  • Order replacement parts and assist with engineering projects where required.

About You

  • Previous experience as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
  • Engineering qualification or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience working with PLC-controlled equipment.
  • Knowledge of steam systems and pipework.
  • Experience with HVAC and chiller systems.
  • Boiler room or BOAS experience would be advantageous, although training can be provided.
  • Previous experience within food manufacturing is desirable.
  • A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
