We are working with a successful, growing family-owned business based in Bingham who are looking for a Customer Service Executive to join their friendly and supportive team.

The Role

As a Customer Service Executive, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing a professional and friendly service from initial enquiry through to order completion and aftersales support.

You will work closely with customers, warehouse, logistics and sales teams to ensure orders are processed smoothly, issues are resolved quickly and customers receive an excellent experience.

No two days will be the same, and you will have the opportunity to build strong relationships while developing your knowledge within a growing business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle customer enquiries via telephone and email, providing a friendly and professional service.
  • Process customer orders, quotations, invoices and dispatch enquiries accurately.
  • Manage delivery queries, including late deliveries, failed deliveries, damaged goods and returns.
  • Liaise with courier companies to resolve issues and ensure deliveries are completed successfully.
  • Raise and monitor courier claims through to resolution.
  • Keep customers updated throughout the process and provide regular communication.
  • Work closely with warehouse, logistics and sales teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and update internal systems.
  • Support with general administration and continuous improvement activities.
  • Take ownership of customer issues and find effective solutions.

  • Has previous experience within customer service, administration or a customer-focused role.
  • Is confident communicating with customers over the phone and via email.
  • Enjoys solving problems and taking ownership of queries.
  • Has excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
