  • Support recruitment activities across multiple sites, including job advertising, reviewing applications, recruitment campaigns and organising recruitment events.
  • Review and update job descriptions, HR policies and procedures as required.
  • Oversee Occupational Health referrals and support the delivery of workplace health assessments.
  • Manage employee onboarding, offboarding, absence management, employee relations and general HR queries.
  • Support apprenticeships, work experience placements and other learning and development initiatives.
  • Monitor employee engagement and satisfaction, analysing data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Compile HR reports, monthly and quarterly KPIs, and workforce metrics for management.
  • Support the Group HR Manager with HR strategy and planning.
  • Oversee time and attendance processes and ensure payroll information is accurate before payslips are issued.
  • Lead the implementation of a new HR and Time & Attendance system.
  • Provide generalist HR support across multiple UK sites, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal procedures.
  • Maintain health, safety and welfare standards within your area of responsibility.

  • Experience using HR and Time & Attendance systems, ideally including system implementation.
  • Previous people management or supervisory experience.
  • Experience supporting HR operations across multiple sites.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to use initiative and work effectively within a small team.
  • The confidence to advise managers on sensitive employee relations matters.
  • A flexible attitude and willingness to embrace new systems and ways of working.
  • The ability to lead the HR team in the Group HR Manager’s absence.
