We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Warehouse Operative to join their busy afternoon shift team. The role involves working with various types of packaging materials and using hand-held tools to assemble products. Initial training will take place on the morning shift (6:00am – 2:30pm) for approximately 2–3 weeks before moving onto the afternoon shift. The afternoon shift hours are: 2pm-10.30pm Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
- Handling and assembling different types of packaging using hand-held tools
- Working accurately and efficiently to meet production targets
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Supporting general warehouse duties as required
About You
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is desirable
- Forklift licence (Counterbalance) beneficial but not essential
- Comfortable using hand tools and working in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and strong work ethic
