Job Description:
We’re currently recruiting Production Operatives on behalf of an established manufacturing business based in Old Dalby, Melton Mowbray. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, friendly production environment offering full-time hours, an immediate start and the potential to secure a permanent position for the right candidates.
The working hours are Monday to Friday 14:00-22:00.
Own transport essential due to location.
The Role
As a Production Operative, you'll be working as part of a hands-on production team, helping to ensure products are manufactured, finished and prepared to the required standard.
Your duties may include:
- Operating production equipment and machinery.
- Assisting with various production and finishing processes.
- Preparing materials and products for the next stage of production.
- Checking finished products for quality and accuracy.
- Packing and preparing completed orders.
- Following production instructions and company procedures.
- Keeping your work area clean, organised and safe.
- Working effectively as part of a team to meet daily production requirements.
- Full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for candidates with previous production experience as well as those looking to develop their skills within a manufacturing environment.
You’ll need to be:
- Reliable and punctual.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
- Practical and hands-on.
- Able to follow instructions accurately.
- Quality focused with good attention to detail.
- Physically fit for a role involving periods of standing and repetitive tasks.
- A good team player with a positive attitude.
- Able to get to the site independently - own transport is essential.
