Role Overview
We are currently recruiting for experienced and reliable 7.5T Delivery and Install Drivers to join a team based in Newark. This role involves the safe delivery, installation, and basic assembly of goods at customer locations, ensuring a high standard of service at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle in line with all legal and company requirements
- Deliver goods to residential and commercial customers
- Carry out installation and basic assembly of products where required
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and installations
- Perform daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Ensure all delivery paperwork is completed accurately
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times
Requirements
- Valid UK driving licence with Category C1 entitlement (7.5T)
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience in multi-drop delivery and/or installation preferred
- Good level of physical fitness (heavy lifting involved)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
