We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT General Operative to join a busy recycling and heavy industrial operation based in Whittlesey. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company specialising in metal extraction and recycling processes within a heavy industry environment.
Shift Options:
- Fixed Afternoon Shift
- Rotating Morning/Afternoon Shift
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading materials
- Supporting recycling and metal extraction operations
- Working within a heavy industrial/base ash processing environment
- General operative duties as required
- Maintaining health & safety standards on site
Requirements:
- Valid RTITB Counterbalance FLT Licence essential
- Previous experience within recycling, quarrying, waste management, aggregates, or heavy industry preferred
- Comfortable working in a dusty, heavy industrial environment
- Reliable, hardworking, and safety conscious
- Ability to work as part of a team
