Counterbalance FLT Warehouse Operative Needed – Immediate Start Available! Own transport beneficial due to location and shift requirements. Peterborough; Full-Time | Monday to Friday | 09:00am - 17:00pm. Flexibility needed; Temp-to-Perm Opportunity. £13.50 per hour.

Your responsibilities:

  • Unloading inbound deliveries and completing goods‑in checks
  • Booking stock into the warehouse system and storing materials correctly
  • Preparing and loading outbound deliveries and export containers
  • Picking and packing orders for customer dispatch
  • Moving raw materials, packaging, consumables, and finished goods throughout the site
  • Supplying production areas with materials as required
  • Carrying out stock counts and inventory checks
  • Completing quality control checks when required
  • Maintaining high housekeeping and hygiene standards
  • Following all health, safety, quality, and environmental procedures
  • Assisting with waste management and recycling activities
  • Supporting site security and gatehouse duties on a rotational basis
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the warehouse operation

What we’re looking for:

  • Valid counterbalance forklift truck licence (essential)
  • Previous experience within a warehouse, FMCG, manufacturing, or production environment
  • Good organisational and time‑management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good numeracy and communication skills
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work
  • Commitment to safe working practices at all times
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
