Are you an experienced Purchasing or Supply Chain professional looking for a hands-on role where you can make an immediate impact? We're working with a well-established and growing business known for being agile, reliable, and solution-driven. Due to increased demand, they are looking for someone to join the team as soon as possible on a temp-to-perm basis, with the opportunity to secure a long-term position.
The Role
This is a fast-paced, operational role where you'll play a key part in keeping the supply chain running smoothly. You'll be responsible for:
- Managing stock levels and placing purchase orders
- Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships
- Monitoring supplier performance and reviewing pricing
- Analysing purchasing data and identifying stock risks
- Coordinating inbound shipments, including European orders and freight
- Tracking goods in transit and managing lead times
- Maintaining accurate supply chain and shipment records
- Supporting day-to-day purchasing operations and internal communication
- Contributing to cost-saving initiatives
