We are looking to recruit a reliable, semi‑retired or flexible worker who is happy to provide ad hoc holiday cover within a quarry office environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who doesn’t want full-time permanent work, but enjoys keeping busy, working part-time or occasional assignments, and contributing in a structured office setting. The role is based at a small reception and office area (3–4 staff members) within an operational quarry site. The environment is practical, friendly, and steady‑paced, with busy mornings and quieter afternoons.
Key Duties
- General office administration and data entry
- Printing, filing, and organising site paperwork
- Preparing and printing site inductions
- Managing vehicle and quarry safety documentation (including safety data sheets)
- Ordering and recording diesel deliveries for site tanks
- Supporting general site admin tasks as required
- Reception cover (answering calls and greeting visitors)
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
