Equans is looking for an M&E Engineer to join our team based in Derby on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package. We are seeking Engineers with an Electrical background that have some Mechanical knowledge/experience.

What will you deliver?

  • Carry out PPMs and Reactive works on the following but not limited to; Light fittings, Sockets, RCDs, Faulty Fridges and any other Electrical works
  • Carry out works on Mechanical equipment including in the energy centre, pressure vessels, water systems, air handling units, filter replacements etc.
  • Carry out reactive callouts on critical systems
  • Complete compliance testing and minor works to JSP375 standard
  • Undertake new installations, major and minor electrical repair works and attend to breakdowns when required
  • Participate in on call rota
  • This role includes a DBS Enhanced with Barred Lists check therefore ability to pass is essential

Who are you?

  • Experience of educational environments is desirable.
  • Level 2 & 3 electrotechnical diploma i.e. C&G 2330, 2365 or equivalent NVQ level 3 electrotechnical.
  • Electrical competency - 'BS7671 18th Edition is essential.
  • AM2 qualification L3 in inspection & testing i.e. C&G 2391 (Desirable).
  • Mechanical knowledge.
  • This role includes a DBS Enhanced with Barred Lists check therefore ability to pass is essential.

For this role, you must have evidence of the right to work in the UK.
