We are looking for a qualified Community Pharmacist to join a busy and friendly pharmacy team. The successful candidate must be confident working independently and able to dispense medication without supervision while providing excellent patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medication accurately and safely.
- Carry out prescription checks to ensure patient safety.
- Provide advice to patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, and treatment plans.
- Assist patients with over-the-counter medication and minor health concerns.
- Work closely with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
- Support and guide pharmacy staff when required.
- Ensure all pharmacy procedures and health & safety regulations are followed.
- Manage medication stock and ensure medicines are stored correctly, including controlled drugs.
- Deliver professional and friendly customer service at all times.
Requirements
- Current GPHC registration.
- Qualified Pharmacist.
- Previous community pharmacy experience preferred.
- Able to work independently and dispense medication without supervision.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Professional, reliable, and patient-focused approach.
- Ability to work well within a team and in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable
- Previous UK pharmacy experience.
- Experience using pharmacy management systems.
- Experience working in busy community pharmacy settings.
