We are supporting a boutique US tax practice with lovely offices in London in growing out their private client tax team. This dual handler role offers a unique opportunity to work within a vibrant and forward-thinking firm, providing comprehensive tax advisory services to a diverse range of clients. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of both US and UK tax systems, with a proven track record of managing complex tax matters for high-net-worth individuals.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to US and UK tax laws
- Manage complex tax matters for high-net-worth individuals
- Oversee and review the preparation of tax returns, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards
- Offer expert advice on cross-border tax implications
- Liaise effectively with HMRC, IRS, and State Tax Authorities
- Identify and capitalise on sales and business development opportunities
- Assist with advisory projects tailored to client needs
Leadership and Management:
- Provide guidance and support to the team
- Contribute to the training and development of junior staff
- Collaborate with directors and partners to ensure exceptional client service
You will have:
- Either the US CPA, EA or ATT tax qualification
- Deep understanding of both US and UK tax systems
- Proven experience in managing tax-related matters for affluent individuals
- Proactive work ethics, capable of managing tasks independently and in collaboration
